The database (REPOSITORY) is devoted to teaching about the wars of 1990s on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. It contains materials that can be used in elementary and secondary schools devoted to learning about the wars of the 1990s. Among the materials, users can find: teaching materials, historical sources, databases of historical sources, literature, websites, projects and initiatives of relevant organizations, museum exhibitions, documentaries and feature films ….
By using the key words in the cloud, you can search for materials based on: chronology, material type, personality, geographic characteristics, as well as the specificity of the material itself (for example – war sufferings, refugees, public representation of wars, war victims). Each processed material contains: the name of the material, the type of the material, the description (context), the link / availability, the original language.
Search can also be performed through the browser by entering specific terms and is made easier by grouping them into several categories based on topics.
This database represents the starting point for further research and requires further upgrading. Users can propose new materials they believe should be part of the database, making it open to public. All suggested materials that meet the teaching application criteria can find their place in the database.
Disclaimer: The selected materials available in the database do not reflect the views of the participants in the project.
